Drug companies are using AI to make drug development faster and more cost-effective. Google Cloud has launched two software suites for this purpose: Target and Lead Identification Suite and Multiomics Suite. These suites help researchers identify targets, analyze genomic data, and access databases quickly. Pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and biotech firms like Cereval are already using these suites. Colossal Biosciences CEO Ben Lamm said that they wouldn’t have been able to do it without Multiomics, as it would have been a “massive weight” to develop it alone.
