A curious kangaroo was not to be denied a good nose through a camper’s shopping bag recently, taking off after the poor woman when she tried to grab it, and creating a classic “only in Australia” moment in the process.
Zoe Baxter recorded her sister-in-law’s unfortunate, but hilarious, encounter with the roo at a campsite in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales.
Baxter told Storyful that “luckily she was quick and the kangaroo tripped” on a tent rope. This meant her sister-in-law was able to get “a head start,” she said, “and got around the corner to her parents’ cabin safely.” Credit: Zoe Baxter via Storyful
